A special joint tour for ages 11 and up of the exhibition “The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do” at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. This exhibition is an expansive and timely presentation of Holocaust history told through personal stories, objects, photos and film - many of them on view for the first time.
The memory and lessons of the Holocaust are an important piece of the education that we try to impart on our students. This exhibit focuses not only on the painful realities we must keep in mind as Jews, but also on the ethical call that cries out of our history.
This is a special opportunity to engage with this topic as a community.
Parents are also invited but we have limited space, so let Chanan know in advance if you’d like to come.
