Purim is a holiday associated with Carnival, Inebriation & Intoxication, Costumed Revelry. What better way to celebrate than at NYC’s pre-eminant hot spot, DROM, with the premiere purveyors of Jewish party music: Frank London’s Klezmer Brass Allstars. Grammy-Award winner & acclaimed trumpeter Frank London presents a special *Two-for-One* pre-Purim concert at DROM on March 12th. One show with two different programs!
The first set will be a Yiddish Cabaret featuring acclaimed actress-singer-author, Eleanor Reissa, with music from their 2020 recording, Vilde mekhaye (Wild Ecstasy). Set two celebrates the release of Frank London’s Klezmer Brass Allstars’ CHRONIKA – which was in the Top Ten on the World Music Charts Europe – and features guest artists singer Sarah Gordon as well as guitar/electronica expert, Sam Day Harmet, and the formidable Klezmer Brass Allstars. It will be a party for the ages.
